Glenford Truck and Tractor Pull

No alcoholic beverages allowed.

Glenford Lions Club or any persons involved with pull are not responsible for accidents.

All vehicles will be operated in a safe manner at all times.  Unsafe operations will result in disqualification or removal from grounds.

All vehicles must have working brakes!!!!!

Anyone not involved in the pull shall be required to stay off the track for safety reasons.

All weights must be securely fastened.  Anything lost on track while hooked to sled will result in disqualification.

Driver must put vehicle in neutral and take foot off clutch before sled will be hooked.

Any jerking of sled will result in disqualification.

Drawbars must be stationary in all directions while pulling and hook must hang down freely in 3 “opening of drawbar. Tractor or truck must have clear access to sled hook in order to hook.

No part of vehicle will interfere with sled.

Disqualification will result if sled or vehicle touches guardrail.

Each driver has 2 chances to get front of sled past 75 foot mark.  These attempts must be consecutive.

After first puller in each class has made their pull, they have the option to pass that pull and either pull again immediately or in the third position.

If weight is changed on sled, first puller has option to pull immediately or drop to third.

Driver has option to spot sled before it is pulled back to starting position, if the sled was pulled over 75 feet by previous puller.

If less than10 entries per class or at executive decision, vehicles can double entry, but only place one per class.

When sled is ready, puller has 2 minutes to hook.  If unable to pull at this time may drop to last [mechanical problem only]

Anyone under the age of 18 must have a signed consent form by parents or guardian

Minimum of 5 pullers in class to pay first place money. If less first place money is dropped and second is paid instead.

ALLVEHICLES MUST WEIGH OUT AND DRAWBAR CHECKED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THEY PULL.  YOU WILL FORFEIT PRIZE MONEY IF YOU DON’T

Any vehicle can be inspected at any time.

No pressurized fuel unless factory equipped.

 Uncut tires for checked class.  Cut tires are for unchecked or hot farm class.

Any rule not covered above will be decided as needed by members of rules committee; excessive complaining will result in disqualifying, decision final.

No cut or altered tires.   4500-15.5x38 or 18.4 x 30, 5500-18.4 max.

No side shields unless factory equipped.

No pressurized fuel unless factory equipped.

Stock or factory replacement carburetor.

Maximum drawbar height 18” and 18” from center of axle min.

Naturally Aspirated.

Wheelie bars recommended.

11ft. from center of rear axle to furthest point forward.

Factory RPM with working governor.

Block for make and model.

Maximum drawbar 20”.  18”from center of axle.

No pressurized fuel.

Any cut on tire-18.4 max.

11 ft from center of axle to furthest point forward.

Must have Wheelie bars and Kill switch.

Naturally Aspirated.

No side shields unless factory equipped.

Stock appearance.

No pressurized fuel.

18” drawbar.

No altered tires.

11 ft from center of rear axle to furthest point forward.

Must run at factory rpm’ with working governor.

Low Gear and low torque only.

Factory drawbar only No pulling hitches.

16.9 x 38 tires maximum.

No pressurized fuel unless factory equipped.

Maximum drawbar height 20” and 18” from center of axle minimum.

Wheelie bars recommended.

No side shields unless factory equipped.

Factory  RPM with working governor.  No more than 3000 RPM’s.

13 ft. from center of rear axle to furthest point forward.

No cut or altered tires.  20.8 by 38 tires.

Weights must not interfere with hitch point.

In the interest of safety all 12500 and 14500 tractors MUST be equipped with a RPM sensor on the crankshaft dampner/pulley and wiring ran to the rear of the tractor.  This will be connected to an RPM monitor on the sled so your RPM can be checked during the pull.         

Block for make and model

Maximum drawbar 20” – 18” minimum from center of axle.

No pressurized fuel.

 Tires-   20.8 by 38 cut.

13 ft. from center of axle to furthest point forward.

Must have tie bars, kill switch, wheelie bars, 3/8 safety cable on front half of motor between cylinders 1 and 2, cross bolts in exhaust.

Roll bar or roll cage mandatory.

No bigger than P-pump.

No bigger than 3 ¼ inch by 4 out turbo.

      Scatter blanket and seat belt are mandatory. Helmet is mandatory.

Tractor MUST have the following:  Back-up alarm, a working Kill  switch, dead man throttle, Wheelie Bars, scatter blanket and side shields.

Maximum Draw bar height from ground is 20” and minimum length 18” from center of axle.

Fire extinguisher must be on tractor and in working order.

Helmet and seatbelt are mandatory.

Roll cage or roll bar are mandatory.

No automotive V8 engines.

Tire size limit is 18.4.
